Dreamboy (Episode 2: Getting to Know each Other)

After ilang nights, while reviewing in my room for the upcoming exams next week, a number i dont recognize texted me. At first i was hesitant to open it, baka kasi fraud message lang. But then i still opened it, to my surprise, it was Brix! I was so shocked, kinilig before i could finally read the message. It says:
"Guys, f 8s ok 2 u,lets mit 2morow, sunday in front of d skul to have our 1st meeting, txtbak.."
Di ko alam if magrereply pa ba ako or wag na lang. Pero di ko napigilan, nag-reply ako.
"k ^_^" then i send it to him.
Next day, I went sa meeting place, I was expecting na lahat sila we're there already,pero it was only Brix i saw. Di ata nya ako nakilala, dahil nung nag-smile ako, di nya ako pinansin. So, di na lang muna ako lumapit sa kanya, i stayed doon sa mini stop malapit sa gate ng school. Until someone from our group came and approached him. Doon na ako lumapit at nagpakilala ulit.
Nung ma-kumpleto na kami, we went sa park malapit sa school. Then we started the meeting, we assigned people to have their individual obligation, Brix assigned me para humawak ng pera or collections na gagamitin pambili ng materials for the project.
That night he texted me again saying:
"Pwede k b bkas?"
I was wondering kung bakit nya ako tinatanong. Will he take me out for a date? Or watch a movie?
I replied: "Ok lng..y?"
"Lets buy d stufs we nid 4 our project.
"
Di ko alam kung madidisappoint ako or what,pero ok na din at least makakasama ko sya diba? Hehe. So I replied: "k..". I was still waiting for his reply..pero di na sya nagreply till nakatulog ako.
The next day, I texted him, "2loy b tau?".
He replied: "yeh, lets mit at d park.."
Then nag-meet kami,exactly 2pm. We went sa isang bookstore malapit sa park, we were not talking bout other things, puro about sa project lang pinaguusapan namin, his plans, his suggestion..so medyo boring. After namin mamili ng mga materials, I was shocked when he asked me if gusto ko daw magmeryenda.
"Ummh.."
"Sige na, gutom nako eh.." he said.
"Bahala ka.." I replied.
"Ok, cool..oh by the way,anu nga ulit name mo? sensya na ah..im not good with names."
Di ko alam kung matatawa ako or maiinis sa tanong nya..imagine, almost 1month na kami mag-classmate,di pa din nya alam name ko? But i cant blame him, di naman talaga kami naguusap sa school..
"Cherry," i said..
We went sa isang food chain, he ordered for me, I was imagining na para kaming nag-dedate. doon na kami nagstart magkaroon ng magandang conversation.
"Ilang taon ka na?" he said.
"16" sabi ko.
"ah,ako 17.." he said.
silence..
"taga san ka?" him again.
"dyan sa village malapit sa school."
"ah..same village lang pala tayo.."
silence..
"watch ka next saturday ah? May game sa court..kasama ako." he said.
"i'll try.." i replied.
"sana nood ka, para may cheerleader ako..hehe" he said.
I smiled, kahit na corny yung sinabi nya..
After a few minutes na nag-uusap kami, ang dami ko nalaman sa kanya. Never pa pala sya nagka-girlfriend, mataba sya dati, at mahilig sya sa books. Our conversation went through till someone texted him.
"Uy, i have to go, may practice pa kami ng team ko eh..ok lang?" he said.
"yah sure,take care..and good luck." i replied.
"Ok, bye..take care..i'll just text you later." he said, then lumabas na sya..
I dunno if i heard him right..tetext daw nya ko? haha, i wont expect. After a few hour, di na naman nya ako kilala.
But i was wrong, that night, he texted me saying:
"Hey, Perry, ryt?, i had fun a wyl ago. 8 was nice tokin 2 u, hope we cud tok agen lyk dat sam oder tym. gud nyt."
Kinilig ako sa mga sinabi nya,although mali yung name na binanggit nya. Still, i know it was me. So i replied:
"me 2..gud nyt."
Then he called me..then ew talked again over the phone,bout so many stuffs. Till he finally say bye kasi inaantok na sya. Kinilig na anman ako, I never thought this would happen. We went to the bookstore together, meryenda, talking over the phone for about 1 and a half hour, this are like dreams come true. I closed my eyes, and slept with a big smile on my face..and a heart the beats very fast.
