Dreamboy (Episode 1: The Day We First Met)

Lahat tayo,we all have our dream partners..ideal man. But what if yung taong yon..di naman ikaw ang ideal partner nya? Ang saklap diba? My name is Cherry..im a first year college student..simple, tahimik, mahiyain, cute daw sabi ng nanay ko.
Nung first day ng school, sobrang kinakabahan ako dahil wala akong kilala sa mga schoolmates ko, lahat ng high school friends ko nandun sa Cebu. Kaka-migrate lang kasi namin dito sa Manila. So everything for me is new, it's like I was born again. Anyways, during the first day of class, my feelings are so awkward. Some of my classmates kasi magkakakilala na even before pa. May mga girls na maarte, may mga nerd katulad ko, mga boys na mayayabang..but among all those boys, isa lang ung nag-stand out. Si Brix, varsity sya dito sa school, he's handsome, and I think he's smart too..perfect guy sabi nga nung katabi ko na hindi ko naman kilala. Well, hanggang tingin lang ako sa kanya dahil di ko naman sya kayang kausapin,coz I think di rin naman sya magtatyagang makipagusap sa isang dictionary. So days passed, madami din naman akong naging friends sa class, specially si Gemma,she's a nice girl. We talked a lot bout weird things,and of course crushes. Inamin ko sa kanya na crush ko si Brix and nag-agree naman sya. Hehe. Brix and I never got the chance of talking kasi nga kung di nya kasama ung mga friends nya, mga babaeng patay na patay sa kanya ang nakapaligid sa kanya.
Weeks passed, I still didnt had the chance to talk to him, until nagkaroon kami ng group project sa isang subject namin, ka-group ko sya..and sya din ang group leader namin. During our group meeting after class, he asked for each and every one's name and contact numbers para daw madali nya kami ma-contact. Inisa-isa nya kami. I was the last person na tinanong nya.
"Hi, im Brix..you are?" he said while offering a handshake for me. I was totally shocked that I was not able to answer him for 2 minutes. After 2 minutes..dun pa lang ako nakasagot.
"Ummh..umhh, Che-Cherry.." I said without even taking his hands para i-handshake, I was blushing. Binalik na nya yung kamay nya in it's proper position at parang na-offend pa ata sya dahil I snobbed his handshake.
"Ummh, pakisulat na lang yung number mo dito para ma-contact kita if ever may meeting tayo on weekends." he said while giving me the paper. I grabbed the paper and the pen, nanginginig ako sa nerbyos at di ako maksulat ng maayos..obvious naman yung reason kung bakit ako kinakabahan..yun ang first conversation namin,and first eye contact. After that,di ko na sya matignan ng maayos.
He thanked me after I gave the paper, and then he smiled. Muntik ana kong himatayin nun. Napaka-charming nya.
"Ok guys..let's all work together for our first group project..Im looking forward to see you all be cooperative and of course productive ok?so thats it for now..see you all tomorrow." Sabi nya and then naghiwa-hiwalay na kami..after that day di nako makatulog, makakakain..nyay! Im in love!
